Editing Configuration file

Notepad, Word, Ultra-edit, Wordpad, AMI Pro, Wordstar, etc. Rather than modify your configuration file, how about copying it and make many different ones? How about node pools instead?

Re: Editing Configuration file
what is the reason for doing this? You definitely have to go through the Managers guide before you start playing with them.vijaykumar wrote:Hi Gurus,

I haven't failed, I've found 10,000 ways that don't work.

Just go to DS Manager and under the Tools menu choose Configurations. You can play with them there. I think you need to spend some time reading the PDF's under your Start button about configuring node pools.

In the GUI tool choose Save As to create a new configuration file name (which ends in ".apt") and edit that. Don't forget to click Check to make sure that there are no errors or warnings.
