Yes, anyone can.
But it's probably easier if you get it yourself, using the Configuration editor in the Manager client.

Find the $DSHOME/Configurations/default.apt file.

Is this the only message you are getting? How did you know that its caused due to the config file?

config file only contain node1,node2 etc.
also I see the message
DBC_Enterprise_0,0: sendWriteSignal() failed on node ponny21 ds = 0 conspart = 1 Broken pipe

Dose this error prompts for all the Job you run or some specific job which handles huge volume data? Or when you run many job parallely?
Impossible doesn't mean 'it is not possible' actually means... 'NOBODY HAS DONE IT SO FAR'

Assertion: this has nothing at all to do with the configuration file.
A search for "unexpected" may prove fruitful.
