What does Runtime Column Propogation mean?

In normal cases when you are sure about metadata you can keep it off.

If you want to use RCP with certain stages (Sequential File,File Set ,External Source, External Target,Column Import, Column Export)
RCP should be turned on and you should use partial or full schema definition. ie when you define metadata in a file.

If you want to be able to perform complete and accurate lineage analysis RCP should never be enabled.
