Unable to Mark a topic resolved

Post by abhilashnair »

This post is related to DSXchange website. I am not able to mark a topic resolved. When I try to do so, I get a failure dialog box

Are you the original poster for that topic?

I had the same problem a week ago.
(I thought I was a one time thing, but this confirms that I was not the only one who got it)
I tried it the next day and I was able to mark it is resolved.
Don't know what happened.
Try doing it after a while, log off/log on or may be next day.
This is just a work around, I guess the webmaster should look into it.

Finding answers is simple, all you need to do is come up with the correct questions.

Yes, I am the original poster of this topic. Thats obvious. I wont try marking those topics resolved which are posted by others.

I have been facing this problem for a little while now.

I have tried all those workarounds already, but the problem persists. Initially, I thought it is a one time thing. So I did not bring it to the notice. But that was not to be. This is a nagging problem

I guess it has something to do with my account in DSXchange

I dont think PX to do with this topic to be resolved. Webmaster should look into you topic and need to mark as resolved.
Impossible doesn't mean 'it is not possible' actually means... 'NOBODY HAS DONE IT SO FAR'

Sorry, but I had to ask. I wonder if this issue is limited to a single forum, since I've seen threads marked as resolved in the past couple of days.

Not sure if this is limited to a single forum or multiple ones. But going by the posts above, I think many are facing this issue. Wonder whether the Webmaster is taking note of this?

The Webmaster is either still asleep at this time or getting his first 'cuppa (4am his time as of this writing). But I'm sure that if you e-mail him directly or post a thread in Site/Forum section is will get addressed immediately.
