E TFDR 000001 (002)- not able to view the data loaded

Hi all,

I have created a job and after it ran completely, wen i c the job in the designer, i can see the links are green in colur (i was told that if the run is successful, the link will be green in colur).

the link also shows that some x records are loaded, but the log says "fatal error"? how can this be possible?

i get this error wen i try to open the data in the target stage....

Error executing View Data command:

##E TFDR 000001 01:31:48(002) <LKUPOP.ds> Data set initialization for "LKUPOP.ds": This input-file data set does not exist: LKUPOP.ds.

I tend to ignore the link colors in the Designer as I've had cases where the run information in the Designer and that in the Director log are different. The log file information is correct.

The error message is pretty clear, the data set you are trying to read does not exist.

What error message do you have in your log file that could explain this?

Is the Data Set control file in a different directory than the one you specified?
