File Pattern

Hi All,

I am using Sequential file stage and inside that my read method is "File Pattern".

When I executed my job, my job failed and the error message that I got is

"Sequential_File_0: In file set "/db2fs1/Scratch/import_tmp_53338297039fb9.fs": Parsing a dataset, expecting a fileset.."

By looking at the error message it's not possible to decipher the exact reason why the job had failed.

It's only after investigating I found that there is no file by the name which has been specified in the File Pattern.

Am I expected to get this kind of error message or is there any other problem.

Do your sequential files contain binary data?
