Make sure you are logged in as the administrator and do a "LOGTO UV" before you issue the command. This command is not present in any but the master account's VOC.

USER root (on OS HP-UX)

. ./dsenv (on OS HP-UX)

./uv (on OS HP-UX)

LOGTO <project> (on UV)

UNLOCK DEVICE <number> INODE <number> READULOCK
Verb "UNLOCK" is not in your VOC

I recommended "LOGTO UV" and not "LOGTO <project>". The UNLOCK verb does not exist in the projects.

If you prefer to work in the project, use DS.TOOLS menu. (This actually installs UNLOCK in the project's VOC file.)

Note also that LOGTO is one of the commands explicitly blocked in the Administrator client's Command window. But, once you've used an unlock option from DS.TOOLS, you can then use UNLOCK from that window.
