Will new vesrion of SAP BW allow DataStage to load the data?

Will new vesrion of SAP BW allow DataStage to load the data?

From my BW team I got this link about the new vesrion of SAP BW (BI2004s) http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpd ... ameset.htm

According to this information external tools are not goiing to be able to load the data because SAP is not coming up with the libraries. This makes BW team very happy as they will be using BW version of ETL tool. I am new to BW so I have a question:

1 What are the advantages of this new DataSource concept compared to old one? DataStage will support the old version of DataSource?

I will appreciate all of your expert comment on this.
