Single RFC Server pointing to multiple project

Hi,

Due to security requirements, We are planning to get data from same BW to multiple projects. Our plan is we will define the groups and allow them to access only certain projects by restricting file permissions.

As I understand, RFC server which is running on DataStage server machine defines the link between one project and SAP BW source System. On SAP BW side, the BW team does not want to create multiple source system. So that leads me to get data only in one project.

Is it possible to link same source system to different projects through RFC server?

I will appreciate your suggestions and best practices around this.
