Internal Processing of DataStage with ref to temp space.

Hi All ,

I am using DS PX .

When i looked at the scratch disk size , it is having enough space. As per my understanding PX uses the configuration file which has nodes and scratch disk details.

There is a possbility that /tmp space of Unix can get full as there are lot of process running.
As per my understanding PX doesnt uses "uvconfig" file. This "uvconfig" file show /tmp of Unix has to be used for processing.

We had problem and the error message is
"/datahub/dsadm/Ascential/DataStage/Datasets/lookuptable.20060516.32sra4b (size 540204472 bytes)": Not enough space
Error finalizing / saving table /tmp/dynLUT1077476f5bdb683".

I have an understanding that using JOIN will help in overcoming it .

I want to understand whether PX uses uvconfig file or not ? . If it uses then how uvconfig is called.
