Good to see people passing the exam. It's a great way to round out your knowledge of the product. Currently the only certification help out there is the overview on the IBM website and my blogs: Can I prepare for certification on an old version of DataStage? and DataStage Certification - how to pass the exam.
Has anyone been for a job interview since passing certification?

Welcome aboard, raji. :D
Do you mean the logistical details, such as where to find an examination center? This information is available on the IBM web site indirectly, then you have to find the local office of one of the testing companies.
Search this forum to find out about the assessment and feedback mechanisms. You get a "report card" indicating your areas of strength and weakness, as well as an overall pass/fail grade.

I got passed the certification exam today also :D
Big thanks to vmcburney for his blog. It helps me very much.
But I am a little confused about the final score: how it is calculated? On my examination report I have info that I had 56 good answers and I got 85% score. But 56/79 ~= 70%. Some questions has more points then other?

I got 1:45 min to resolve my test. There was 79 questions. As it is in my examination score report I got 56 questions answered properly. And as my score report says I got 85% score. Maybe some questions are 1pt for good answer and the others 2pt?

I just go certified yesterday. It was difficult, but do-able. I found that there was not much time to think about the questions. I used up 2/3 of my time when I got throught the first half of the questions so I had to rush the rest of the questions... But I passed with an 85%. The marking is strange because each question is not worth the same amount and the exam doesn't tell you how much each question is worth. I think what they do is give you one point for each correct answer on the pick 2 of 5 questions. So the test is not out of 79. It's out of more, but there are 79 questions. At leats that's my guess. Here is the breakdown of the questions in case anyone studying for the test is wondering:
Installation and Config - 6 questions
Metadata - 4 questions
Persistent Storage - 10 questions
Parallel Architecture - 10 questions
Databases - 9 questions
Data Transformation - 11 questions
Sorting - 8 questions
Automation and Deployment - 7 questions
Monitoring and Troubleshooting - 7 questions
Job Design - 7 questions
The most difficult questions (for me) were the database questions because I have never used the Oracle or Terradata stages. I was only going by what I read in the manual. Also, you need to know how to deal with COBOL and XML sources.
I hope this info helps you prepare better for the exam.
