Wrong linkcount from Lookup Stage

Hi,
For my Sequencer Job, I have written a Routine which will log all the information related to the sequencer run into the Audit Table.

For a particular Job, 'From stage' is Dataset and 'To stage' is Lookup Stage.
So for LinkCount, I gave the ToStage name and link name.

It worked fine untill the dataset carries some records. but when the dataset carries '0' records, the routine is giving the Linkcount from the Reference stage to the Lookup.

Plz clarify.

Ratan, don't you feel it would be helpful if you could post your routine which is returning incorrect values?
