DSPIPE_WAIT Writer timed out

Post by koti9 »

hi all,

We are getting a TRN,0 :dspipe_wait(2060316): Writer timed out waiting for Reader to connect. error while running one of our job.
We are just trimming the data that we are getting from sequential file in a transformer. So please pass anyinputs if you already handled this error.

Thanks in advance.

Is this a remote file or an explicit named pipe? The message informs you that the job times out waiting for a reader to connect. Is your system heavily loaded, or have you run out of processes in the process pool?

Hi Ray,

Thanks for the reply.
It's not a remote file. But we are not sure how many jobs we have in place and running in parallel to check the number of processes and the amount of load. Please let me know when this occurs...

Thanks & Regards
