Complex Flat File Stage in PX vs. DS Server

Post by travis »

Hi Everyone,

I'm having trouble trying to utilize the functionality of the DS Server Complex Flat File (CFF) stage with the PX version's CFF. With Server I have been able to parse the source data from the CFF by indicating specific field values I want going down specified links. I cannot see how that could be done in the PX CFF. I know how I could do it using constraints in a Transform or a Switch stage, but I would really like to be able to do in a CFF without adding a parsing step in the job. Please let me know if you have any insights. Thanks.

You're right - the first post was from my co-worker, who was trying to help me out. I should have put my rephrasing of the problem into the same topic - sorry.
