Wat is the diff between parallel job and server job

Hi all,
I am asking a basic question here,pls all DS gurus ,dont get angry,just clarify wat is the diff b/w parallel job and server job.

THE difference?

A server job runs on a single server.

A parallel job runs multiple, parallel execution streams. This can be on a single (multi-CPU) server or on multiple servers.
