Hi All,

I am using Datastage EE(7.1),i need to extract the data from Multi Dimensional Cube(built in Sybase). Is Datastage has capability to extract data directly from a Cube?

Any ideas....

Hi,
AFAIK,
If you can do it via regular sql select, yes.
If it requires special handling or connections it might be another thing.

By the way you will probably need a certified answer so please post what your support provider's answer is.

Good Luck,

Yes, though you may need user-defined SQL if you need to constrain on dimensions, for example. Haven't done this with Sybase, but have done so with SQL Server.
