As Ray pointed out the Devnet message stated:

Initial exams in the Ascential Authorized Developer category should be available in late Q4 2004.

So there is still over a month to go and plenty of time for them to get something out the door. I'll put certification into a FAQ for those who cannot be bothered getting a devnet logon or logging in to keep up to date.

The certification FAQ thread will be updated every time Ascential make an announcement or send an email to the certification mail list. I will ask them about it at AscentialWorld Australia in a couple weeks.
