We are trying to upgrade to InfoSphere DataStage 11.5.0.1 on Linux RedHat 7. One of the system requirement/prerequisite to install InfoSphere Information Server V11.5.0.1 is "IBM Runtime Environment, Java Technology Edition v7.1.3.10".

We are unable to find "IBM Runtime Environment, Java Technology Edition v7.1.3.10" software package. We built new Red Hat Linux VM to install DataStage 11.5.0.1.

Anyone has any clue where to find this software to install on RedHat 7 Linux VM? Please provide guidance. I have also created a PMR with IBM just now. Waiting for reply.

I haven't done an 11.5 install yet, but for all other versions that I have installed the required IBM java is part of the installation package. You just have to follow the installation instructions and make sure that there is no other java version to get in the way.
