Not able to view jobs in datastage 8.7 Director

Not able to view jobs in datastage 8.7 Director. How ever able to view them in designer client. I am also not able to delete and rename the jobs too.
getting error like Cannot open executable job file RT_CCONFIGnnn.
Is application restart is required to make director and designer in sync?
Please advice

My guess is that you need to reindex your project.

Perhaps RT_CONFIGnnn has become corrupted. Try using either of the hashed file repair utilities to verify its state. Or even just try to count the records in it.
If it has become corrupted, you could attempt a repair, but a better approach would be to make a copy of the job and compile that, then delete the bad job and rename the good job.

Hi All,
sorry for the late reply.
The issue has been resolved after deleting the rt_confignnn file and rt_statusnnn file.
After that I was able to compile the job successfully and jobs are visible in director too.

Not a good solution. You should, rather, clear the status file using Director client, or a CLEAR.FILE command in dssh (perhaps from Administrator client).
