Just wanted to add that you can see the current list of 201 champions here:

You can click on each name then click on the "About Me" tab to see some of the accomplishments that made that person a Champion for Information Management. For example, "At last count he plays over forty musical instruments with a reasonable level of skill."

2. Present at the Information On Demand conference each year.
3. Be nominated and participate as an IBM Customer Advisory Board member.
4. Have a successful IBM Developerworks or Toolbox.com blog with frequent updates on IBM software.
