when the server is rebooted ,OS firewall is turning ON and while starting up WAS it is not able to connect to port 50000 ( repos) .
this is standalone installation .


In your env do you have OS firewall enabled?
how are you managing if firewall is enabled?

I am starting WAS as root .

You need to have the firewall configured so that the particular ports needed for Information Server processes are left open.
