db2 configuration in IIS 8.1 vs 8.5 and above

Hi all. I am little confused here with DB2 (connector / EE stage) configuration.
In IIS 8.1 IBM Planning, Installation and Configuration Guide I see for configuring DB2 we are running dh2setup.sh under orchhome/bin/
and granting db2node.cfg readable by IIS users.
In 8.7 I did not come across this configuration. Is there any configuration change between IIS 8.1 and above version?
