Infosphere suite installation

Post by AmeyJoshi14 »

Hi Experts,

We are installing Infosphere suite in our Red hat linux server. Below are the details:-
Infosphere(DataStage) Version:- 9.1.2
O/S Red hat linux :- 5.8
Which user shall I run 'setup' file in 'is-suite' folder? Shall I use root or dsadm?
I have already created dsadm user on linux operating system.

Appreciate your help!!

Thanks in Advance!!

You have to use root.
You can change ownership later, as described in the installation and config guide.
