Jobs remaining at status 'Queued'

We've recently run into the scenario where jobs are entering the job queue and remaining at status Queued indefinitely, despite the system and queue policies being set such that the job should be executed. This occurs whichever queue we submit to, including newly created queues.

Any tips?

Running in "grid" environment?

Check if a node is down in that grid. You may need to restart loadleveler for it using llctl command with admin privileges.

Not in a grid environment - Just a regular SMP environment using workload manager.

We are having the same problem. No HELP? Quitting out of designer and coming back in is the only way to get a job to run. Next job to run gets indefinitely "queued".

Is your shop an SSH or RSH shop?

Got keys set up for that user id on all those SMP boxes?

Have either of you involved your official support provider? John, did you ever get a resolution for this?
