Datastage 8.7 migration

Experts,
We have this migration project from Datastage 7.5.1 to Datastage 8.7 and it seems the job run times are more (sometimes double the run time) in newer version(with the danger of exceeding batch window/SLA) without any change except migration. Is this noticed by any one else?
While turning off Domain (=NONE) authentication (in dsjob runs) and turning off the DSODBON switch gets some performance gains, it doesn't look logical to do these as they are the new features.
We also had newer AIX 6.1 (from 5.x) and P7 servers(from earlier P5) during migration to new version, still performance is not good. The PMRs with IBM has been open but still no resolution for more than week and still in progress.
Want to find out the experiences of DSXchangers? Or is it just us.
