Error in connecting datastage server using designer client

Hi,
The issue I am facing is not related to job creation, however it is related to datastage administration.
I am not able to login datastage designer client, an error comes while login:
'Failed to authenticate the current user against the select Services Tier
port out of range: -1'.
It was working fine earlier.
Service tier and engine tier on AIX 6.1 on cluster mode. datastage version is 8.5. Designer client is on windows.
Please reply.
Thanks,

Check with your admin if your datastage password is expired.

Hi Prasson,
No, datastage password is not expired. As team can login datastage server
admin web console with same user id and password.

What has changed?
"Nothing" is not the correct answer.

Nothing that you know of has changed - which means that you need to look for something that has changed since it worked.

thanks all for your responses. I have got the solution of the issue.
I have added the client systems under DNS server which resolve the hostnames for server, engine, database and client machines.

Hi,
I have encountered similar issue.
Could you help sharing the file & location on which you had added client systems? Hope the same could help resolving the issue that occurred in our environment.
Regards
Elavenil

Dear Elaveni,
Sorry for not replying you on time, please add the dns ip in your client machine network adapter.
