Multiple Services Tier

Hi DS Gurus,

We are trying to create another instance of Services in the existing services tier for another set of countries deployment. What my concern is that this option adds dependency of those countries. During upgrade, i would like to understand whether 2 different versions of Services tier can be run in the same machine. For eg. one services tier is to support all engine tiers running on DS 8.5 and another services tier is to support all engines running on DS 8.7 / 9.1.

Is it the best option to go for?
