Hi,

We have installed both 8.1 and 8.7 clients. Sometimes when we need to switch to the other version we are getting the following error:

The Following problems occured while trying to set the version:
Failed to read log file from verification process (C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\MCMD4.tmp)

When we restart and try a couple of times then it works. It would be great if anyone can tell us why this is happening. Also I was not able to find the TEMP location which is mentioned above.

Although I'm not sure what your problem is, the /Temp directory is always installed in the windows home directory; you need to do a lot of work, including editing several registry entries, in order to move that temp elsewhere.

Are you using the Multi-client manager tool to switch versions?
