Hostname change for IIS Enterprise v 8.0.1

Hey, has anyone ever done a successful host-name change before?
We are moving from one server to another.
I have been in touch with our service provider for datastage, however the service providers for WAS, datastage, db2, aix, and mq are silos and there is no one application person to go to.
The plan is to change the hostnames on the OS first, then mq and db2, and finally IIS.
I have been provided with a script to change hostnames in xmeta, and the below files to modify.
agent.properties
registered-servers.xml
default.apt
jndi.properties
serverindex.xml
certificate update script.

Does anyone have any experience/advice/gotcha's that you can think of?

I have done it many times. Please clarify a little bit more, are both the host name and IP address changing or just the host name changes?
If it's just host name change, it's much easier to fix.

G'day Malini,
Congratulations. Any gotcha's future name changes might want to be aware of, of shortcuts you used to make it stress free?
