Hi,
I am trying to install Information Server 8.5 and have a pre-installed WAS and running into issues when it asks for the profile.

The profile that you select must be dedicated to IBM Information Server. Do not attempt to install on a profile that contains existing applications. The installation program does not verify whether the profile that you select is dedicated

CDIIN2158E: The selected profile is secured and cannot be used as an IBM InfoSphere Information server profiles
My current profile in WebSphere looks like

/opt/IBM/WebSphere/AppServer/profiles/AppSrv01
Any ideas how to proceed further?

Create a new profile, for example called server1, that can be dedicated to IBM InfoSphere Information Server.

i face the same problem , so how can we create a new profile in steps ?
