Change DataStage server port

Dears,

I installed DS 8.7 on a machine that already has DS7.5 installed, and I choose 31539 to be used as server port for 8.7. but now I removed 7.5 and I want to change 8.7 port from 31539 to the default one 31538

Why? It is completely uncritical to leave the port settings as they are.

I would suggest contacting IBM to get details for all the required steps and then weigh your options. If it were me, it would take less time and effort to request a firewall change ticket! But your organization may have a lot more red tape!

I think i have done this before. IBM gave us a 2 to 3 pages word doc which explained the steps to accomplish the port change. It's atleast 3 years back and i don't have that document handy.
