stop and start 8.5 services

Hi,
Every time we need to stop dsengine,ASB Agent,WAS,Metadata Repository and start dsengine,ASB Agent,WAS,Metadata Repository if we want stop and start 8.5 services.
if so, y we need to stop and start all services every time.

You don't. Who said you did? For example if you want to make a change to uvconfig, it's sufficient to stop only DataStage services.
