CDIIN4563E: Could not determine what profile was created

Post by esivaprasad »

Hi,
When we are installing 8.5 version,we got the following error in install step
"com.ibm.is.install.exception.InstallException: CDIIN4563E: Could not determine what profile was created.",

its showing three options to select
1.Retry failed action
2.Continue installation
3.Exit installation.
I was selected "1.Retry failed action" and clicking next to proceed with installation.
Again its giving same error.i tried same option selection and tried three times, and showing same error 3 times, i selected
"2.Continue installation", after this installation not going further .

Please suggest on this error
"com.ibm.is.install.exception.InstallException: CDIIN4563E: Could not determine what profile was created.".

Any help great helpful.
Thanks in advance.

i did fresh installation, removing temporary folder files, selecting diffirent destination installation path and removed all objects in XMETA schema.
Then installation went fine and successfully installed datastage.

This was the only topic I found on this exact error and thought I would post my solution as well.

I received the same exact error during a fresh 8.7 installation and retrying the failed action was not working.

I manually uninstalled WAS/DB2 components and tried to re-install (with the same installation paths) and it successfully installed.
