How to avoid Code -2 Error

Post by Hema.k »

Hi All,

We have some 6 jobs in the sequence job and in every job activity the option "Reset if required ,then run" has been enabled.
We are facing the Code - -2 Unable to run the job(Compiled, not running) if the job has aborted in the previous run.
If we compile and run the job again, its running fine.

We have scheduled the sequence and it is difficult to compile the job everytime when we face this error.

Could anyone suggest how to avoid this error ?

Regards,
Hema K

i suspect, you should get that error when your jobs are not in right state(compiled, not running).
It never occurs, if a job gets aborted.
Please let us know,if you need any more information

An aborted job won't cause that error. Since your jobs are compiled, the common reason for this error is the job is already running and is a scheduling error - either within this sequence or outside of it.
