Understanding the expression USING _spVV0 (DATE)LOCKING TABLE DWH_DATA.ACCT ACCESS

Good evening

Im new at Teradata but in in Teradata Manager Tool in the explain tab i stumbled with the expression:

USING _spVV0 (DATE)LOCKING TABLE DWH_DATA.ACCT ACCESS

I tried to find out exactly what it means the above query, but didnt,

I now that has something to do with store procedure languaje with comprises evaluating expressions?

I assume that it declares a variable called VO as date but no more

1. could anybody explain exactly what that expressions does, and if it is a query statement ?

2. where can i find a thorough description about the above expression?

I'd appreciate your help,Thanks

That's not a DataStage question, can you take it to your Teradata DBA?
