Installing 8.5 client with 8.1 already installed

Got the following warning about installing the 8.5 client in windows but if I uninstall MKS Toolkit from DS v8.1 just to install 8.5 will that break my 8.1 client? I'd like to be able to use both the 8.1 and 8.5 client on this box.

Uninstall the existing MKS Toolkit using the Windows Control Panel's Add or Remove Programs. If you do not uninstall the MKS Toolkit, the installation program will attempt to upgrade to the required version, but the upgrade process does not always succeed and may cause your IBM InfoSphere Information Server installation to fail.

After you uninstall MKS toolkit, you must restart installation program in order to properly install IBM InfoSphere Information Server.

You can ignore it. We use the same two releases and it has no problem with the MKS toolkit being there from the prior release.
