8.7 operational database

Post by Rob4732 »

Hi All,

Does anyone know where I can find the 8.7 operational database model? Not sure if the operations console will provider all our information needs and may need to create some custom reports.

Thanks

As far as I am aware the design of DSODB is not documented in the public domain. But you could open it in the database-specific tool (for example DB2 Control Center) if you want to look at it.

The schema for the operations database is actually open and publicly documented for that very reason - we expect people to want to query it directly to create their own reports etc.

Take a look at http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocente ... opsdb.html

There's also a developerWorks article being drafted which should give some SQL examples for extracting commonly asked for information.
