job parameters, where used

Hi,

I've just inherited a chaotic project that defines lots of of job parameters. Among them, I suspect that some parameters are never used, or not applicable after I've moved some part of the job into other jobs.

So my question is,

- is it possible to double check if a job parameter is no longer used in my current job?
- Seems DS will never warns me if I remove a job parameter, but it is still used (eg, in file names). Is that right?

1) Yes, possibly easiest is via inspection of either an export file or the records for that job in the DS_JOBOBJECTS table.

2) You are correct. You may wish to submit an enhancement request around this one.
