It seems I may have posted the problem too soon, because I found the answer
. Here it is for those who may be experiencing this or another problem where passing arguments via the ssh may be of use.
In the "/opt/IBM/InformationServer/Server/PXEngine/etc/remsh" file, if you are using ssh, you can use the -q option. So, ssh -q (any other info). This will quiet the warning message (and any other messages).
