We are using Datastage 7.5 server version.OS windows 2003.
Can we call VB script in execute command stage?

Anything you can run from the command line you can call from the Execute Command stage.

Some file types are not really executable by themselves. VB script maybe one of those. There is a way to trick explorer into running them. I would have to look it up. Try it Craig's way and let us know if it works.

Exactly what I meant - if you need to encapsulate VBScript into something else to 'run it' from a CMD prompt then you'll need to do that for use in that stage.
