Unable to open sequence properties

I have datastage 7.5 server edition installed on Windows 2003 SP2 machine. I am unable to open Job sequence properties window, if I right click on Job sequenc stage and click on the properties nothing opens up.

Could anyone help me out what might be causing this issue?

Does this happen just to you or to everyone that connects to that server? Did it work at one point and then stop working or has it never worked? What is your client O/S?

What first comes to mind is an old problem with "Service Pack 2" for Windows XP, the advent of SP2 broke some things in the client causing problems similar to what you posted and a patch was made available. Might be worth tracking down with your official support provider.

Yes this happens to everyone who logs into the server and this is a new server and its not working right from the beginning after installation.

Client OS is Windows 2003 R2 SP2

A core.* log gets generated in the client machine. Can you look into it ?

I would involve your official support provider at this point, see if this is any kind of known issue with that O/S and if there is a patch available. The last 7.x version before 8 was released was 7.5.3 from what I recall, is that the release you are running?

Close the sequencer job in designer view and now on your left hand side where you have job tree structure, right click on the job and you will see the properties .

I think this is new functionality in version 8.
