FOLDERS RT_LOG

Hi Everybody,

I would like to know what kind of information wich contains the folder RT_LOG.

How do purge this folder ? :idea:

The RT_LOG<nnn> folders contain hashed files which contian the runtime log information you see in the director. They are purged from the DataStage director - where you can also set autopurge options per job.

That log is corrupted, most likely from it having "too many" records in it. An exact search for "computed blink of" will turn up many conversations on the topic and the solutions you have.

Log files are relatively easy to fix. Since you've got a blink error, the data is probably useless to you in any case, so just do a Director -> Job -> Clear Log -> Immediate Purge/Clear All Entries and DataStage will re-recreate the log file for and keep the purge settings. Alternatively you can do a TCL command-line "CLEAR.FILE RT_LOG110" but you would lose your purge settings and they would re reset to the system default upon next run.
