Hello,
I searched the forums looking for similar post/experiences, but no luck, so here we go:
Our environment: Windows 2003, IIS8.1, IA, DS&QA, metadata repository hosted in DB2
We are planning to used Oracle 10g/11g(RAC) to host our metadata repository instead of DB2
Regardless of the path taken to creates the new metadata repository, we should migrate the content of the current DB2 metadata repository to the new Oracle metadata repository... and here is where the task become interesting ..
Getting DS&QS projects and jobs to the new repository should be fairly easy, export/import should do it, but:
How about the rest of the content in the metadata repository( Operational metadata, Match Specifications baseline and incremental data, logs, etc)
How about migrating the IA database content to the new location?
Thanks in advance ...

Hi Julio,
Were you able to migrate the metadata repository from DB2 to Oracle? Would you kindly let us know how you did the migration as we're planning to do a similar task.
Thank you.
