What is the max size for the value stored in $UserStatus

Hi

I want to set the job status with a string.
I can't find the max size allowed for the string.
Any idea ?

Probably significantly larger than you'd need... what exactly are you considering storing there?

I need to store a string between 100 and 200 characters.

The limit is primarily imposed by string space in memory. I have had 3MB strings in the user status area.
