Protected Projects

We just moved from 7.5 DataStage to 8.1 Websphere. In 7.5 we were able to run / start a process in Designer in a protected project. In 8.1 we can only run / start a process in Director in a protected project. Does anyone know how to get that flexibility in 8.1 Designer while keeping the project protected? Thanks in advance. Have you checked whether you or your group is assigned a developer role or an operator role in this project in the new environment?

We are all set to developer role in the project.

That's no 'option' that I've ever seen that would differentiate 'run ability' between the Director versus the Designer - it should be both or neither. I would suggest you open a case with your official support provider and see if this is perhaps a known issue.
