datastage server not runiing prperly

Hi,
There is very srtange problem coming with datastage server restart.Well someone has stopped our datastage server but few processes was still running ,then datastage server was stopped.then it was started.
Now we are able to login to designer client successfully,but when we check on server with the command

Code: Select all

uv -admin -info

it shows that datastage is in not running state. when we run the jobs,no log file is created.
if anyone has idea what exactly is the problem,please share with us
