Command Line Interface manual entry

Post by ray.wurlod »

The chapter on DataStage Developer Kit (Job Control Interfaces) appears no longer to be in the Server Job Developer's Guide (or in the Parallel Job Advanced Developer's Guide) in version 8.1.

It was there in version 8.0 manuals.

Does anyone know where it is in the 8.1 manual set?

I tracked this down a few months ago, but haven't been able to find the email....indeed it went missing in the first cuts of 8.1....I'll keep digging, as I don't remember the final conclusion of when fixed or where it would be placed.....

Thanks, Ernie

No rush, as I have the information I require from version 8.0 manuals.

Ray,

I add same problem. You should look on the server now instead of client :

http://<server>:9080/infocenter/?topic=/com.ibm.swg.im.iis.ds.cliapi.ref.doc/topics/r_dsvjbref_Commands_for_Controlling_WebSphere_DataStage_Jobs.html

Hope this help.

Regards.

Thanks Daniel.... found my email from one of the documentation managers who said the accident occurred because of some restructuring of the PDF chapters. She said that the doc would return to the client in a future release, but for now is only at the Information Center. I wasn't able to find it --- thanks for the link!!
