moving Scratch space

Post by Derrickfn »

Where do you configure the location and size of your scratch space. My C drive is running out of space and I want to move it to our disk array which has 3 TB.

Local disk is by far to be preferred for scratch space, because of the random way in which it is accessed.

However, all you have to do to use different scratchdisk is to construct new/replacement parallel execution configuration files, that refer to the new pathnames of directories wherever you want them.

You can readily build these by using current ones as templates (via Save As) in the Configurations tool in Designer.
