User variable activity stage

Hi All
i need to know about the user varible activity stage. Actually i need to invoke the one varible value which is there in other job.In a sequence i need to get this to compare the varble value.
So help me in this.

Hi,
Can you explain your requirement and what value in the job you want to use in the sequence?
User variables can be used to capture the return values of transforms, routines or even some constants and can be used to send as params to next job in the sequence.
Provide more details so that we can advise you.

Like any other activity, the properties of a User Variables activity are available only downstream of that activity.
