Teradata V2R6 to MySql 5.0.26

Post by patchpanel »

Hi there,

I don't know if there is already a topic for this. did'nt search and I am very new to datastage.

Is it possible to transfer data from Teradata v2r6 to Mysql 5? Just an exact copy of the table. What would be needed/requirements?

Thanks,

Welcome aboard.

The answer is yes. You need client software for Teradata and an ODBC driver for MySQL, both installed on the same machine as your DataStage server.

Thanks for the input :D
Just need to solidify the possibility it would work. I have read articles of it working with 7.5..

Yeah ,a bit biased since this is what we have right now for the project..hehe

Take a look at hamzaqk's signature block: probably regards MySQL as a toy.
